Homes with Healthy children provides home visitation services to families with young children. The goal is to enable parents and children to be safe, healthy, and nurtured. Families will experience success in many family issues including: health, development, school readiness, socialization, parent-child interaction, and family coping skills. This program has received the Iowa Family Support Credential.

This service is available to every citizen (of all ages) and is provided locally in every county. Skilled nursing services are provided by professional staff or associated paraprofessionals. The service available varies by county. Public Health Nurses also provide information and assistance to link families with local community resources for health and social needs.
