Caring Hands assists with food and clothing needs. A food pantry is available and can be used once per month.
Additional foods may be available through the “Our Daily Bread” program and can be picked up as often as once per week in addition to the foods picked up from the food pantry. The variety of quantity of food varies, depending on availability.
Financial aid to assist with utilities or rent may be available. An application is available on the website.

Eligibility:
Community members living in the Southeast Polk School District or within the city limits of Bondurant and Pleasant Hill.
Intake Process:
Clients are asked to bring a valid ID and piece of mail for confirmation of residency. Appointments for financial aid can be scheduled by calling 515-967-4533.

- Monday & Wednesday 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
- Saturday 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Hours for Our Daily Bread:
- Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
