Blank Children's Center for Advocacy and Outreach maintains a list of free car seat installation help available throughout the state of Iowa. There is also a permanent Fit Station which provides parents and caregivers the opportunity to have a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician inspect their child's car seat, verify the seat is not on the recall list and help educate parents and caregivers on how to properly install the seat.There is no appointment necessary and families are served on a first-come, first-served basis. This service is provided free of charge and is brought to you by Bob Brown Chevrolet and Safe Kids Greater Des Moines.
