Program: Community Breakfast
The weekly breakfast is a time for neighbors to enjoy a meal while building community with one another. Anyone is welcome to enjoy a free breakfast, and to pick up one sack of diapers if needed.

The DMACC Success Center offers ESL classes to help students increase their use of the English language. Classes are intensive and progressive. Registration is required to participate and a pre-test is given to determine the appropriate placement of the student. Students range in age anywhere from 17-70.
Services:
Citizenship Preparation – 8 week course designed to prepare students for the process of becoming a US citizen.
ESL Classes – Levels range from Pre-literacy (Basic Beginning 1) through Advanced English (Level 5). These 7 levels are progressive with pre and post testing done during each term to assess growth and achievement.
Eligibility:
Registration is held on the first two days of the semester. Open registration is available throughout the semester. Students may register at the Success Center every Thursday from 2:30-6:30 pm during each semester. An ESL consultant will sit down with each student and recommend the proper placement of the student in an ESL level based on an assessment given at that time.

A Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) food pantry. Individuals and families may receive an emergency food box once every month from any DMARC food pantry site.
