Bridges of Iowa is a substance use disorder treatment center. Residential treatment and the Halfway House are delivered in the unlocked West Wing of the Polk County Jail. This wing is leased from Polk County and it is not part of the jail system. Individuals are not incarcerated at Bridges of Iowa. Bridges of Iowa has a separate entrance.

Bridges of Iowa offers inpatient residential treatment, halfway house treatment, and outpatient treatment options. Individuals are not required to receive high-intensity residential treatment to participate in the halfway house or outpatient treatment programs.
