Program: Private: A Lifetime Wish

A Lifetime Wish was created to honor kids who are faced with a life threatening illness. Children who receive nominations for A Lifetime Wish have been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition that placed their life in jeopardy.

Services:

Each family wish is personalized to fit the needs of the family. Wish coordinators are involved in planning process. The most popular wishes include:

Theme park trips
Celebrity meet-and-greets
Professional sporting events
Concerts and shows
Travel to special destinations
Shopping sprees
Technology and gifts

Eligibility:

Diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, meaning a progressive, degenerative, or malignant condition that is placing the child’s life in jeopardy
Between the ages of 3 and 18
Has not received a wish from another wish-granting organization
Able to communicate verbally or nonverbally with switches, communication boards, or sign language

Intake Process:

Anyone can nominate a child for A Lifetime Wish. The nomination does not need to come from a medical professional. ‘Nominations are made on the website at: www.kidswishnetwork.org/nominate

Program: Hero of the Month

Hero of the Month was created to honor kids who have demonstrated courage and bravery when faced with life altering situations. Children who receive nominations for Hero of the Month experience situations such as loss of a parent/guardian or sibling, a child whose parent/guardian is receiving treatment for cancer, emergency surgeries, abuse requiring medical treatment, and more.

Anyone can nominate a child for Hero of the Month. The nomination does not need to come from a medical professional.
