Early ACCESS is an early intervention system of services provided to families. Services provide support and resources to help assist families enhance children’s development through everyday learning environments. Common areas are talking, moving, seeing, listening, thinking, eating, or playing. Every child is eligible for an evaluation. The evaluation will determine eligibility for further services.

In addition, a team of professionals with expertise in early childhood special education provide interventions to support children with special health, behavioral, or developmental needs.

Early Childhood Services also provide training and work directly with early childhood providers in community settings such as preschool, child care, and Head Start programs.

The program provides parents and educators with opportunities to work together in positive ways to improve educational programs for children with special needs. The staff provide support and information to families individually and through parent workshops and support groups.
