Families are served in lessons which include activities, worksheets, games, and cooking. The program aims to increase family knowledge in budgeting, meal planning, healthy food choices, food safety, and physical activity. Families and youth strengthen communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills through the lessons. These life skills help participants obtain employment and nurture family relationships.
