The UIHC (University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics) Regional Genetics Consultation Services provide comprehensive, family centered, genetic health care to individuals and families throughout Iowa with statewide outreach clinics. The primary purpose of the Regional Genetics Consultation Services is to provide this structure as an integral component of the state's health-care system. The secondary purpose is to assure the provision of statewide genetics education to promote health and prevent disease.
