Behavioral Health Intervention Services(BHIS) are supportive, directive and teaching interventions provided in a community-based or residential group care environment designed to improve the individual’s level of functioning (child and adult) as it relates to a mental illness, with a primary goal of assisting the individual and his or her family to learn age-appropriate skills to manage their behavior, and regain or retain self-control. Four Oaks Outpatient Behavioral Health Services provide outpatient individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children and their families who are eligible under Title 19 or private insurance.
