The Community Action Agency of Siouxland was created in 1971 to help people through economic crises and help them make it on their own. We are a private, nonprofit human services organization. They have a number of programs which provide short-term aid and encourage long-term change. They include early childhood education, emergency assistance, heating assistance, weatherization, transitional housing, senior employment training, family development and child care food program.
