Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART)

DART operates 19 Local Routes operating throughout the day up to seven days a week. DART Local Routes serve: Altoona, Beaverdale, Clive, Des Moines, Johnston, Pleasant Hill, Valley Junction, Urbandale, West Des Moines and Windsor Heights. DART also offers express and on call routes available to certain cities in the Des Moines metro. DART includes paratransit services. DART Paratransit is a door-to-door and wheelchair accessible service available for senior citizens and persons with disabilities who are functionally unable to independently use DART’s Fixed Route bus service.
