Legal Aid of Story County does not provide legal representation in criminal matters, driving violations, juvenile matters, or cases that could generate a fee for a private attorney.
Eligibility:
Basic eligibility guidelines requirements are:
- Must be a resident of Story County, Iowa
- Have income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
- Have the type of civil case handled by the Legal Aid Society of Story County
- Must not present a conflict to the office
