The clothing closet is available for families as often as needed. Families are allowed 5 clothing items per family member per visit.

This is a Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) food panty. People seeking assistance can visit one of the DMARC food pantries to receive a three-day supply of food once per month. Pantry open hours vary. Please visit dmarcunited.org/food/pantry-locations for the most up-to-date schedules.

IMPACT's Boone, Drake and Ankeny Food Pantries also have 'Anytime Shelves'. ‘Anytime’ items will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis on shelving located outside the office doors. Individuals do not need to call or speak with a staff member to use the anytime shelves. Items vary daily.

Eligibility:

All families in need of food are able to receive it at any IMPACT food pantries. Households may access this service once per calendar month.

Intake Process:

Provide a photo ID for the head of household and other identification for every member of the family. Some pantries may request a current piece of mail which includes your name and primary address.

Call 515-518-4770 to place a food pantry order. Individuals will have two options for collecting their food pantry order.

  • Pick-Up: Collect the food packages at the Drake or Boone food pantries. Staff will place the food pantry package at a safe social distance to retrieve.
  • Delivery: Polk County residents can choose to have their food pantry package delivered to their home. During the phone intake select a delivery time that works best, up to a week in advance.
