The I-Smile™ Silver program helps adults connect with dental services. An I-Smile Silver Coordinator provides care coordination for adults who need dental care. The I-Smile Silver Coordinator can help with setting up dental appointments, providing appointment reminders, arranging transportation to the dental appointment, and providing oral health education.
The I-Smile Silver program aims to achieve optimal oral health by connecting undeserved adults with dental, medical and community resources to ensure a lifetime of health & wellness. I-Smile Silver is a pilot project, modeled after the I-Smile program for children, aiming to achieve optimal oral health for adult and older Iowans. This project is supported by the Lifelong Smiles Coalition; funded by Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation and the Health Resources and Services Administration; and is administered by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
