The Center for Disabilities and Development, part of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, provides comprehensive health care and services to people with disabilities and to their families through a combination of outpatient, inpatient, and community-based programs. The mission of Child Care Resource & Referral of Iowa (CCR&R) is to actively respond to community needs for affordable and accessible quality child care by providing resources, education and advocacy for children, parents, child care providers, and employers. CCR&R is a program to support quality child care throughout the State of Iowa. CCR&R is available to assist families in selecting child care providers who best meet the needs of a child and their family. Child Care Consultants provide on-site consultation to licensed preschools, centers, non-registered home providers, and Child Development Home providers. Child Care Resource & Referral is available statewide, with locations across the state of Iowa. Individuals may contact the statewide line to connect to local resources.
CCR&R gives referrals instead of recommendations because CCR&R encourages parents to take the time to research child care programs and providers and make the decision that they feel will be best for their family. Referrals provided for:

The free medical clinic is open every Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm, enter from the south parking lot.
Registration begins at 6:30p.m. Please plan to be at the clinic for 6:30 p.m. registration for a first come-first served offering. The clinic may close early after the final registered patient is seen. Being there early will help to ensure you are seen as some nights we fill up and have to turn patients away.

MercyOne partners with Clive Behavioral Health to provide 24/7 crisis care for the mental health care needs of children, adolescents and adults. This new facility offers 24-hour inpatient care for people with behavioral health disorders or co-occurring disorders. Clive Behavioral Health offers several outpatient services including: crisis evaluation and an intensive outpatient program for adolescents experiencing mental health issues.
